6th SEM

It was all like a hallucination.......i thought i had just joined college and WHOA! 5 semesters have zoomed off in a jiffy.This 6th sem seems to be a lot more GROOVY........we started off with our symposium work.KRANTI -a national level technical symposium conducted by our college.Almost a month has whizzed off.But i feel this sem is not gonna be as nutsy as the others.....I savored two lovely movies......OM SHANTI OM and JAB WE MET........they were admittedly stupefying.Whats more........rite now i am fervently waiting for Shiamak's classes as well as our KRANTI..........

INDIA!!!!!!!

WELL I WROTE A POEM ABOUT OUR INDIA........HERE IT GOES

INDIA MY COUNTRY, WITH EVERYTHING SO BOUNTY
THE FLOARA,FAUNA AND SEAS
ALONG WITH FIELDS,PASTURES AND COOL BREEZE,
BUT THIS BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY WAS SUPPRESSED BY MANY A NATION
FOR THE STRUGGLE OF FREEDOM
THE TORTURE AND HARASSEMENT DIDN'T BOTHER
THE SPIRIT OF INDIAN OFFSPRINGS
THE LONG LASTED COMMITMENT AND SUFFERINGS
THEIR LIVES UNDER THE BRITISH REMAINED A MYSTERY
NEVER WAS A MORE TORTUROUS STORY HEARD IN HISTORY
STREAMS OF BLOOD FLOWING ALL OVER
RIOTS,STRIKES AND PROTESTS MOREOVER
LONG AFTER THE TREMENDOUS STRUGGLE
AROSE FREEDOM AT THE STROKE OF MIDNIGHT WITH THE SOUND OF THE BUGLES
THE DAYS AFTER THAT DAWNED NICE AND BRIGHT
THE HEARTS WERE FREE AND LIGHT
THE WHOLE COUNTRY WORE A GLITTERING SIGHT
SIXTY YEARS HAVE PASSED BY
PEOPLE HAVE ACHIEVED WITHOUT A SIGH
SHE HAS PROGRESSED IN ALL THE FIELDS
IT HAS BEEN A SUCCESS WITH FLOURISHING YIELDS
INDIA,MY COUNTRY WILL ALWAYS GLOW
NOT IN MY IMAGINATION SO LOW,
BUT IN MY DREAMS AND LIFE SO HIGH.....

HALLO

Its really been long since i've blogged.4th semester successfully completed.managed to scrape thro the univ exams.And with the 5th sem around life seems to have become much more mechanical and hectic.Then came our Industrial Visit with a loud big bang.Had a blast at Banglore,Mysore and Coorg.Gr8 fun with friends and gotto know so many ppl.
And just after returning home,started off with the Harry
potter mania.Still reading the deathly hallows.Wish it never gets over..will really be mising that boy wizard.And again my Shiamak Davar's classes are another relief frm the college work,having gr8 fun out there too.So even those classes are getting over.......will be missing them also until the next batch starts......AND LIFE GOES ON..................

THE PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS!!!!

Exams are on now.The univ pracs are due on 11th of april.VP first.Sigh wat do i say.hectic hectic hectic. Life sure is torturous these days.Exams already,moreover spl classes also.Even among all this,I got to see this movie called"THE PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS". An excellent movie i must say!Its the real life story of a man called Chris Gardener who works as a salesperson.He lives with his wife Linda and a cute kid Christopher.
HE meets very hard times and his wife leaves him.The story ecstasically revolves around the father and son.Although he faces so many problems he never told a word to his 5 yr old child.How they stay homeless for nights in a row,the difficulties in getting food and at last how he comes up in life by his dedication and hardwork.A truly amazing movie everyone must watch.
After watching movies like these, I do feel that all the troubles that i have been facing with regards to studies are nothing compared to greater problems like those.Life cant always be rosy.We have to struggle hard to achieve victory.TO reach our goal we should always be GoD fearing and dedicated and very very sincere.

2 DAYS HOLIDAYS!!!!!

Thanks to Tamil Nadu Govt.we have got two solid days to enjoy this weekend.saturday and sunday.In fact it's been ages since i were at home during a saturday,coz oue college works on saturdays too.of late we've been working 7 days a week(that includes sundays too,sigh!!!).thats a little less than 24X7 hours of work.Its now that i've realized how heavenly my school was.We had hols every weekend.We used to grumble a lot when they call us on saturdays which used to be a very rare occasion though.Now look at us.Without even a word we keep working on saturdays and sundays......Im really very glad to be at home.its saturday today.watching all movies on T.V,relishing good breakfasts and lunch patiently(cant do this during the weekdays),happily blogging .......haaaaaaaa feels like heaven.Though there's one exam on monday,i really have the satisfaction.

GONE WITH THE WIND!

Hmpf shucks and double shucks.Guess the wind didnt blow towards us.India is out of the world cup.now im getting a bit angry with the team.Arent they survivng just due to cricket???Isnt playing their only job???Isnt Indian Govt. paying them loads just to represent the country and play well.Well in that case why didnt they do that.I suppose they were too busy acting in commercials rather than practising. I guess peolple will now stop getting "CRICKET CRAZY: and will pay some attention to various other fields of sports.Well i think India is doing very well in all other sport except for cricket.The second shucks is because the model exams have started at college,which is such a head ache.we've gotto study the entire syllabus in one evening. My college sure does teach me time management and crisis handling.Well anyways no one bothers to study for these exams.Neither do I.

India at the world cup 2007!

What do i say,India lost the first match against Bangladesh.won the second withBermuda.But lost the most crucial and deciding match with Srilanka.They say India is virtually out of the world cup 2007.It hasnt even qualified for the super8.
But there is no point in blaming the team at all.It happens ok.After all it was just a game.Winning and losing is a part of it.One thing that hurt everyone was that India could have won the first match.Indians being "cricket maniacs" or rather "cricket fanatics" will surely rebel.
Ettiquets dont play a pretty good role in here.
People can never take this easy.But nothing can be done now.Only if Bermuda could win against Bangla with a high margin score,has India got chances of proceeding further.Poor Dravid,couldnt bare watching him weep .Its all in a game.we know abt our Indian team.They are the best.Its only Luck that hasnt favoured them till now.Lets wait and watch.Hope the wind blows towards our side very soon.
